Sen. Mantu Confesses His Involvement In Rigging Past Elections



A former deputy president of the Nigerian Senate, Ibrahim Mantu, has revealed how he helped his party to win elections in the past.
 
Senator Mantu, who was a senator on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), ‘confessed the truth’ during an interview on Hard Copy, a Channels Television programme that airs on Friday.

I Suspect Hidden Jihad Agenda Against South - Prof. Nwabueze


Statesman and chairman of Patriots, Professor Ben Nwabueze, has expressed fears over moves by President Muhammadu Buhari’s government to purchase war planes from the United States, wondering if it is not a “hidden agenda” to carry out “jihad” against the Southern part of Nigeria.
Professor Nwabueze made this observation as he rubbished the Buhari-led anti-graft war, describing it as the president’s “Northern Agenda” plot intended to Islamise Nigeria.

Nigerians Still Under Intense Hardship, Tinubu Informs PMB


The national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Lagos State governor, Bola Tinubu, has challenged President Muhammadu Buhari to do more to improve the lot of citizens. Tinubu gave the advice yesterday while unveiling a book, Making Steady, Sustainable Progress for Nigeria’s Peace and Prosperity, at the old Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The 360-page book is a mid-term scorecard on the Buhari administration put together by the Presidential Media Team. The APC chieftain who refrained from commenting on the 2019 elections, said although Buhari had used the last two years to lay foundation for a better Nigeria, many citizens were still in lack, due to the prevailing economic crunch.
